De event som är inrapporterade fram till kl 07.15 denna morgon! Mer än 100 länder är med!

Och här är ett meddelande från Eve, inspelat häromdan i London.


Wow, jag går in på Eve Enslers hemsida kring det globala eventet One billion rising.
Det kommer att dansas för kvinnofrid i mer än 100 länder på torsdag.
Det känns helt fantastiskt.
Och just nu är vi några som kollar möjligheterna att skapa något i Malmö.
Jag återkommer om det, så fort jag vet mer.

Torsdag morgon kl 08.30 kommer Marie Ek Lipanovska att tala om One billion Rising i webbradio. Lyssna gärna direkt med oss.

Karlstads Community Canvas Painting and Free Dance (Start a Rising)

Welcome to the One Billion Rising Event in Karlstad! 

We will have free dance and a community canvas painting. 

Drop in and join us, from kl.15.00-20.00 (Feb. 14th).

There will be a Valentine's day inspired fair trade fika, with food and snacks for gluten and milk sensitive folks ;)

Lund is Rising (Start a Rising)

The students of Lund University are going to rise on February 14, to show our support and solidarity in ending violence against women and girls. 



We are going to kick-off the campaign with a dance flashmob, followed by a march, documentary and discussion.

Following is the OBR Lund agenda: 

16:00 16:15: Dance Flashmob (Stortorget)

Students will dance to the official song of the campaign Break the Chain. All students and members of public and other associations are invited to join. Theme: Pink and Orange.

16:15 - 17:00  March



After finishing the flashmob, students will march back to the Social Science Union (Samvetet) holding placards and distributing awareness raising flyers to public. 

17:00 - 17:15 Fika (Coffee) Break at Samvetet


17:15 - 17:45 Discussion of gender discriminations in different world languages, in collaboration with Language Cafe'


17:45 - 18:30 Latin American themed documentary on power of women, in collaboration with Association for Latin America Affairs (ALAA)


18:30 - 19:00 Discussion on how we can end violence against women





All students are welcome to join the documentary and discussions at the union and support this great cause.

Women need to relax. At Yogainstitutet we will have a gongbath - relaxation with gongs. The sound will spread the voices of many women on the earth and give everyone that comes a nice relaxation.
